The Witch of Pungo

The Witch of Pungo (2014)

The Witch of Pungo was inspired directly by Grace Sherwood, the last person to be convicted of witchcraft in Virginia. In 1706 she was bound and tossed into what is now known as Witch Duck Bay (part of the Lynnhaven River) and floated, condemning her as guilty. A Virginia Beach legend states all the rosemary in the commonwealth was brought here by Sherwood after she floated across to England and back in a large eggshell.

"The Witch of Pungo" is a limited edition of 50 quality art prints, signed and numbered on heavy 14-pt. gloss cover each measuring 11x17 inches. Shipping and tracking are included in price.
